Is it built yet?
No. Attested Accounts has not been built. The signing and anchoring infrastructure it will use already runs today for other record types on this company's platform; applying it to invoices, quotes, recurring-invoice templates, expenses and time entries has not started. Is it an accounting system, or accounting advice?
No, to both. Attested Accounts is designed as an evidence layer that will sit alongside the Business Village's existing accounting features. It will not prepare, review, or advise on your accounts, and it is not a replacement for an accounting platform, a bookkeeper, or an accountant. Nothing it produces should be read as a statement that any figure or record is accurate, complete, or lawful.
What will sealing actually prove?
That a record has not been silently altered since it was signed. A signature will be created the moment a record is written, and that signature anchored so a later change is detectable. This is a claim about the record's integrity over time, not about whether what it says is correct — that remains ordinary accounting judgement, made by the people responsible for it.
What about records the law requires kept?
Financial records commonly carry a statutory retention requirement that most other records don't. What that means for how erasure requests are handled is real, specific design work, reserved to the operator and not yet settled — not something answered by a general policy written for other kinds of records. Can I sign up for a free trial?
